  • Keystone Stars

    What does Keystone Stars Mean?

    Keystone STARS (Standards, Training/Professional Development, Assistance, Resources) provides families with a tool to gauge the quality of child care programs. The STARS program supports child care programs in the commitment to continuous quality improvement. Programs may enter Keystone STARS at the "Start with STARS" level and earn a STAR 1 through STAR 4 rating using research-based standards that measure four areas that make a difference in the quality of care your child receives.

    Creative Curriculum

    At Teaching Strategies we view families as important partners in children's learning. Teachers who foster trusting partnerships with their children's families are often rewarded with a deeper insight into individual children's learning styles and developmental progress.



    The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8. NAEYC is committed to becoming an increasingly high performing and inclusive organization.

    The Pennsylvania Child Care Association (PACCA) is a statewide, non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the provision of quality early care and education to the children of Pennsylvania.



    The Pennsylvania Early Childhood Education Association's mission is to promote the growth and safeguard the interest of early childhood and child development programs to the families, community and children we serve.



    PENN SACCA is a membership organization dedicated to the support of school-age professionals and the development of quality school-age programs through advocacy and education.
